Spring is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time of year for you and your family to reconnect with the natural world. If you’re in the Lafayette area, you’re in luck, as there is certainly no shortage of opportunities to get back in touch with the world around you. One of the coolest and most unique opportunities in the area is at Wolf Park, which hosts Howl Night every Friday and Saturday evening between May and November. If you love animals, are a wolf enthusiast, or are just interested in experiencing something new with the family, be sure to visit the Wolf Park this spring to discover the area’s wild side.
Every Friday and Saturday the gates of Wolf Park, in Battle Ground, Indiana, are opened at 7:15 for a chance to observe the wolves when they are most lively. As the sun begins to set, wolves spring to life, exhibiting behavior you wouldn’t be able to witness during the day.
The evening starts with a brief talk about the park’s red and grey foxes at 7:15 followed by a curated experience led by Wolf Park’s handlers. Finally, there is a question and answer session at the end of the evening and an opportunity to visit the park shop.
The best way to get to this summer event is behind the wheel of a new vehicle from Mike Raisor Buick GMC.
